At the end of January 2022, Biryuch Innovation Center and international company BIORUS, which specializes in sale of equipment for biotechnology and food industry, have reached an agreement on supply of the first batch of photobioreactors.
This event is essentially unique for domestic biotechnology: photobioreactors have never been used in the country before in large-scale production lines for manufacture of biotechnological products.
The concluded agreement gave start to the work of Biryuch Innovation Center on the study of applicability of micro- and macroalgae for production of innovative food products - food proteins, fats, microelements.
These works are a part of the strategy of Biryuch Innovation Center to diversify research areas in order to increase the sustainability of the company's innovations in a rapidly changing world.
